Clara E Cho, PhD is an Assistant Professor and CIHR Tier II Canada Research Chair in Precision Nutrition in the Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph. Dr. Cho was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Sciences at Utah State University from 2016-2021. Our research focuses on methyl nutrients and one-carbon metabolism as determinants of chronic disease risk including obesity, metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease. We use animal models and human studies to answer questions from genetic, epigenetic, physiologic, metabolic and microbiome perspectives.
